Villa gardens

 

  Collaboration with Jardeco – Invermira in the project for 1500 m² villa gardens in the South of Tenerife.

 

   The ground is located to the north of the house and to the west of the guesthouse. It´s on a south - north inclination, so the design was adjusted in order to minimize the earthworks. To the south of the plot, the house was going to be equipped with a swimming pool, orchards and fruit trees.

      

  Customer specifications: a garden with subtropical plants, a pond, creeks, bridges and an arbour.

 

  The proposals were two: a geometric design based on a grid scaled to the house´s main entrance and a second proposal with more natural strokes.

 

  In both cases the design pretended to create a garden where one could walk and discover tropical vegetation, very different to the one belonging to the owner´s place of origin, rest and read in cosy spots, or simply enjoy meetings and meals in the arbour.
