House terrace

 

   The owners of this house, a young couple and recent parents, wanted to enclose an area of the garden where the dog would not be able to enter. This space had to include artificial turf, a chill out zone, as well as maintain the Hibiscus hedge. The proposal was to extend the area of the porch to gain space for the new fence that finished against two new planters.  The rear end of the garden shed was incorporated by building an informal bench. The ceramic outdoor flooring is unlisted, therefore a study of the use of other materials such as wood or stone - already present in the garden -  or stained, smooth-finished mortar, has to be carried out.
